Yarmunheim is a tactical, cardbased boardgame with an emphasis on drafting your deck and outmanoveuring your opponent.

Yarmunheim’s first set will contain 65 unique cards, each one with their own effect or ability. Your deck will always contain a hero of your choice, but the rest of your cards will only be decided by the draft.

There are three types of cards availible for you during drafting:
Units: are the backbone of most decks, they provide you with valuable presence on the board and a wide array of diverse effects.
Actions: are your opportunity to surprise your opponent with strong, one-time effects.
Items: are the rarest category of cards, they stay on the board after beeing played and grant you unique and powerful effects or abilities.

What makes better Yarmunheim than other games?

You don’t have fixed damage values, instead you have a damagerange which provides more involved gameplay and reduces the pure stats game seen in other cardgames.

My name is Eric Kristensen, I’m studying Computer Science and Design in Germany.
I’m a nerd and geek through and through and got my fair share of experience with TCG’s and boardgames.
The idea for Yarmunheim draft & play is going back to the summer of 2022, where i found myself without a game to play, after I played TCG’s for 2 years straight.
So I started to put my knowledge from designclass in university to work. Now, nearly 2 years later I finished all component’s of gameplay and design.
